- Which horror films to you like to watch?
My favorite films are:
Dawn of The Dead (2004 remake)
Halloween
The Nightmare on Elm Street
Freddy Vs Jason
Day of The Dead (1985)
The Lost Boys (80's fun)
The Ring
Blade 2
Saw
Fright Night (though more humor than scare)
Creep Show
Jeepers Creepers
House of Wax (both versions. original is classic and the remake is just fun to see.)
Thirteen Ghosts (2001 remake. only ghost film I really like.)
Slither (horror to some, funny for me.)
Final Destination Series (making everyday tasks into something fearful.)
Tales of Terror (love Vincent Price's part as the man hypnotised at the moment of death.)
... Probably many more however those are all I can recall from my memory right now.
I plan on watching Rosemary's Baby, Sweeney Todd, The Exorcist and Halloween (2007 remake) sometime soon; those just might be added to the list (I nearly certain all will.)
Polo Ralph Lauren
i love The Ring, The Others.
Jeepers Creepers and the 2004 remake od Dawn of the Deads were great to watch too.
i recently rented The Orphange and that movie was just scary. little kids who are the "villians/ghosts/mosters" always creep and scare the sh*t out of me.

"You jump, I jump remember?"
- Jack played by Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic)
i love Saw - every one of them
9The ring - only the first one , i didn't like the 2nd one
Silence Of the Lambs - classic
An Inconvenient Truth.
10An Inconvenient Truth.
11I love Saw, The Lost boys ( I do not consider that scary)and a bunch of others that you have listed. What I did not see listed is the Shining with Jack Nicholson. That movie still scares the poo out of me.
12I'm not a big horror movie fan, never really was, but when I was a kid, I loved watching the Halloween series and Nightmare on Elm Street...they scared me, but I still loved them.
Of recent movies, I guess I would pick The Ring or The Grudge, I really liked both of those. And they scared me. And I always did love The Blair Witch Project, even though most people didn't find it scary...my friends and I ALWAYS went camping on the weekends and when we saw that movie, we were so scared to go for a long time.
13Oh yeah, Mominator, The Shining is terrifying...forgot about that one!
14The Shining is one film I have yet to work up the courage to fully watch. I tried watching the movie last month and the kid started to creep me out. Then last week I saw it on tv and happened to turn on the movie when Nicolson started going wacko. I turned off the tv since I was all
.lol.
15
I know it creeps me out too Lee. The older I get the worse it is. I can't watch it because I
am so scared I am going to have some demon come and take possession of me through the screen or something. I haven't been able to watch it (that movie) all the way through since I was a kid.
16I have tried so many times to watch it... seriously I lost count. However I'm trying to badly to work up the nerve to watch the entire film. Right now, my best bet is to watch it on Halloween however I won't place a sure bet on that
.
Now, "Saw" also took courage because the first time I watched it (or attempted to) I chickened out at the beginning w/ the drills coming at the man's head; I had nightmares that it was my head instead of his. I got over it though however I haven't seen it in awhile (like a 1 1/2 yr) so I forgot alot, I need to see it again.
17OH I loved saw and it did not scare me it was just gruesome to me. I love how saw was a mental game and that they never did the actual murder themself. It makes you think what would you do in that situation and to answer that I do not know what I would do.
18The Exorcist. The rest are cake.
Girls like horror too! The Horror Fatale
19My favorite horror movie is Scream hands down. And Sweeney Todd is really good but the fake blood is so unconvincing.
20Poltergeist.
21i heard that this film did happen in real life!
Is that true??

Many eerie happenings took place during and after filming of Poltergeist. 4 people died that starred in the films along with many other things on set. So, yes it is pretty true. Most brush it off as rumors or just tales however I do believe there is truth there. I never watched the film(s) mainly because it scares me horribly.
If you go on wikipedia under "Poltergeist Curse" it lists the events and things that happened that made people come to the conclusion the film is cursed.
23Thanks lee, i'll check this out!
